RME lost another crew member this week. They suspended Corey Diamond for two weeks for working an RCW show. It has been well documented that RME does not insist it's crew remain exclusive, but they will suspend guys for working for RCW. Sounds like an act of war to this rumormongerer.
With the loss of Axe and Bratt and the impending loss of Rain and Tyme, one has to wonder how they intend to absorb the loss of Diamond.
Diamond is giving great consideration to re-joining RCW and considers that move a step up in the business.
Marty Goldstein caused a lot of needless heat for PCW and Chi Chi Cruz this week. With Marty claiming to be the event producer for a series of shows at the Zoo and Cruz claiming that was not true, the Thursday night show was nearly cancelled.
Marty refused to live up to a deal he made with PCW because he was worried about the reaction his presence at the lid would cause. Saving the day (and the show) a special gift arrived at the lid at 9:30. As a result, the Zoo show was allowed to continue. And Marty was the booker.
No telling what heat Marty will get himself into next, but one thing is for sure. If Marty was punched out by a mystery person, there would be too many suspects to count.
Angus and Ez are at each others throats currently. Ez sprang for the new insurance but is sick of losing money. Angus knows he cannot keep a crew if he does not pay anyone. Keep an eye on this festering development.
Could Mike Davidson make a return to the world of promoting? Stay tuned...
