This Thursday night, Premier Championship Wrestling presents another white-hot event at the LID Nightclub, only weeks away from the most outstanding wrestling show in Manitoba history!
PCW Heavyweight Championship
Mentallo vs 'Showtime' Robby Royce
Lumberjack Match
On March 3rd, Mentallo made history by capturing his first heavyweight championship, defeating 'Showtime' Robby Royce. Royce's one month reign was dominated by threats of leaving PCW and arrogent demands to satisfy his out of control ego. When Mentallo won the title, PCW was quick to celebrate and slow to grant a re-match.
Using every option available to him, including legal ones, Royce finally earned this rematch and the opportunity to once again become PCW Heavyweight Champion.
Since winning the title March 3rd, Mentallo has been a fighting champion, making more defenses and appearances then the previous champion ever did. His rise to the top of the Canadian wrestling industry was cause for celebration for many fans and wrestlers alike. Considering his long, uphill struggle to the top, Mentallo will do anything in his power to retain the title.
Adding intrigue is the lumberjack stipulation. Over the past several weeks, Royce's co-horts Rawskillz, Dicaprio, Scorpio and even the Tag Sciences Faculty have interjected themselves on numerous occasions. Rather then struggle to keep the rest of the locker room away from the match, PCW has ordered them all to be at ringside. The sides will be even, the fight will be intense and the direction of PCW will hang in the balance, this Thursday Night!
Premier Cup Qualifying Matches Announced
On June 2nd, PCW Presents Premier Cup 2005: X-Raided! The one night, eight man tournament to determine the best of the best in professional wrestling already has guaranteed spots for former X Division Champions The Amazing Red & 'The Future' Chris Sabin!
This Thursday Night, PCW will reveal the outcome of a random draw to determine six qualifying matches. The winners of those six matches will join Red and Sabin as participants in the Premier Cup on June 2nd.
The qualifying matches will take place live next week at the LID Nightclub and promises to be a tremendous preview of the Premier Cup tournament as all 12 wrestlers will give it their all in a fight for the opportunity of a lifetime.
Six Man Tag Match
JML and Ebony & Ivory vs Vinko and Sexual Swat Team
Losing Manager Becomes Winning Teams Sex sl*t
Two weeks ago, Vinko made a shocking return to PCW to aid his former protege 'Adorable' David Dixon! Dixon and 'Gigolo' JP Kaos had been victimized by JML and his men, Darien Karisma & Kory Kinkade. Vinko made a stunning challenge to bring the matter to a head - the six of them in one tag match with the losing manager to become the sex sl*t for the winning team!
One can only imagine what would be in store for JML should he be forced to act as SST's Sex sl*t or what sick and twisted acts would be forced upon Vinko should his team lose.
Adding to the match is the very real issues between Darien Karisma and Kory Kinkade. Karisma's longtime partner Chris Klassic went down to an injury several weeks ago and JML enlisted Kinkade as his replacement, much to Karisma's dismay. While JML and Kinkade have repeatedly stated that Klassic is retired, Karisma has held out hope that his talented young partner will return. This difference in opinion has caused major conflict between all parties. Karisma has even knocked Kinkade out on two separate occasions, yet the team as a whole has experienced much success.
The fans have seemingly rallied behind Karisma, but he remains loyal to JML, having helped him win his 'work out' match against Darkness last week. They'll have to be united if they intend to defeat the SST and Vinko and save their manager the unspeakable embarrassment of becoming a Sex sl*t!
Ref vs Ref
Christopher Marxwell vs Steve H. Ross
Winner Becomes Senior Official
Since Steve H Ross joined the PCW team, he's been learning under the fine instruction of senior official Christopher Marxwell. Chris has often been called one of the best referee's in Canada and has been heavily pursued by other promotions.
But in recent weeks, his confidence has turned into arrogence and he has been observed to be verbally and physically abusive on a number of occasions to Ross and other PCW crew members.
Two weeks ago, Marxwell was the official of record as Director of Authority Frank Feedler faced Robby Royce and seemingly pinned him. However, Chris was out of position and unable to make the count, forcing Ross to run in from the back and take over the match. While Ross awarded the victory to Feedler, Marxwell announced he had DQ'd Frank!
An intense arguement broke out between the two refs resulting Marxwell humiliating his junior associate and ordering him from the ring. Not yet content, Marxwell began chastising Feedler, physically provoking him.
As a result, PCW stripped Marxwell of his position as senior official and gave the title to Ross, an act that infuriated Chris. He was so enraged that he attacked Ross and both refs fought violently until they were separated by officials and security. Marxwell made this challenge and will now fight Ross for the senior official position, a situation that has the full support of PCW fans!
Moses Luke vs 'Beautiful' Bobby Jay
As if Moses Luke's return to PCW several weeks ago wasn't surprise enough, 'Beautiful' Bobby's return shocked onlookers...and he didnt even intend to return at all!
Since being back, Moses Luke has ridiculed PCW, believing the promotion lacks competition for him. He has assaulted 'Diehard' Greg Romijn, Pete Chee, JP Kaos and several others to prove his point. Last week, he even took his anger out on the ring!
Following his match, he lashed out at fans and the company. Spotting Bobby seated in the audience, Moses verbally attacked him as well, saying that there had been no competition in Bobby's TRCW promotion either. He went on to point out that he dominated RingMasters within 30 days of being there and was now dominating PCW. Moses said he clearly had no choice but to quit PCW again and maybe go to AWE!
Bobby Jay nearly choked on his beer when he heard that, but Moses made that impossible by stealing the beer and spitting it Bob's face, starting a wild brawl. When the smoke had cleared, Bobby addressed Moses and told him he'd never last in AWE because how could he eat without getting paid unless he enjoyed the taste of rubber cheques. Moses punched Bob and left the ring. Bobby was irate and asked PCW for one favour - let him have a match against Mo this week!
The fans were solidly behind the return of 'Beautiful Bobby'!
PCW Tag Team Championship
Vicious Donny Dicaprio & Rawskillz vs 'Diehard' Greg Romijn & Pete Chee
Romijn and Chee have had a long history of friendship in the business. That friendship has now become a partnership after Romijn saved Chee from a vicious beating at the hands of Mo Luke several weeks ago.
The new team has been red hot, dispatching the Tag Sciences Faculty last week and earning this title shot.
Dicaprio & Skillz have maintained a firm hold on the tag team championship since defeating The wh**esmen on March 3rd! While not being fan favourites, the two men have been fighting champions, meeting and defeating all contenders.
However, Romijn & Chee may be the most popular tag team in PCW and will certainly have a competitive edge with their support.
All this and much more including a special interview with two-time former PCW Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega!
