Premier Championship Wrestling presents another awesome live event this thursday only at the LID Nightclub!
As announced last week, the PCW Tag Team Champions 'Vicious' Donny Dicaprio & Rawskillz will defend their titles against undisputed number one contenders Barely Legal!
Dicaprio and Skillz have been enjoying success in singles competition as well as together in recent weeks. Skillz in particular engaged in a thrilling match with The Amazing Red at Premier Cup: X-Raided and has even been garnering the support of the fans.
However, the people were left confused last week as Skillz was clearly the fan favourite in his Fans Bring The Weapons match against 'Showtime' Robby Royce. However, after being saved from a three on one attack by PCW Heavyweight Champion Mentallo, Skillz re-paid the favour by attacking the champ!
In addition, the match saw another casualty as senior official Christopher Marxwell was seriously injured after repeated brainbusters by Rawskillz.
There have been rumours of an impending fine and/or suspension to Rawskillz for his actions. How that might effect the tag team title match is unclear.
What IS clear is that Barely Legal are ready to realise a dream this Thursday Night! One obstacle in their way might be PCW's newest tag team, the Big Sexy Beasts. Kevy Chevy & Aj Sanchez have dominates lesser promotions in Manitoba and have come to PCW to prove they are as talented as they claim. They viciously attacked Barely Legal last week and then followed that up with an impressive tag team victory. Considering their vow to dominate PCW and the brawl with Barely Legal last week, one has to wonder what the BSB's might do this Thursday Night!
PCW Canadian Champion Antonio Scorpio Jr made short work of challenger 'Diehard' Greg Romijn who clearly did not want to be in the match. Scorpio arrogently challenged anyone to step up and provide reasonable competition to him and Cisco Satanico answered the call! In a shocking upset, Cisco pinned Scorpio to win the title, but the champion denied the match was a legitimate title opportunity and left the ring with his belt.
Cisco impressed everyone with his incredible 'match of the night' performance at the Premier Cup and has demanded a sanctioned Canadian title shot this Thursday night!
Greg Romijn continued to be devastated by the shocking betrayal of his friend Pete Chee. In recent weeks, Romijn has refused to fight the aggressive Chee and has, instead, tried repeatedly to talk to him. Chee's new partner Moses Luke continued to stand in his way. Will this be the week that Romijn and Chee have a heart to heart talk?
'Adorable' David Dixon proved last week that he was not very adorable after all. He attacked his friend Vinko and then made some out of character remarks that stunned onlookers.
Vinko has demanded that Dixon appear this week as his guest on Vinko's Sex Disco!
'Showtime' Robby Royce may be the TRCW and ICW Heavyweight Champion, but he has yet to win the PCW championship back from Mentallo. In fact, he has been frustrated by his inability to be granted a title shot at all. After an impressive victory against Rawskillz last week, Royce was expecting an immediate granting of a title opportunity, but that does not appear to be the case.
Royce e-mailed the PCW Commissioner earlier in the week and delivered an ultimatum - either he gets his title shot or there is going to be war! He has demanded a response from PCW this Thursday Night!
Last week, tickets went on sale for PCW's summer classic, Beat The Summer Heat featuring the TNA World X Division Champion 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels!
What was not revealed, however, is who will get the opportunity to face the champion. More on Beat The Summer Heat this Thursday night!
