Christopher Daniels Appearance Pushed Back
The World X Champ Replaced by World Heavyweight Champ
Winnipeg, Mb – Premier Championship Wrestling announced today that the TNA World X Division Champion ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels, who was scheduled to defend his title on August 4th at PCW’s Beat The Summer Heat, will instead be coming to Winnipeg in the fall.
“Chris had the opportunity to do a tour of Japan,” PCW’s Director of Operations Andrew Shallcross explained. “It was certainly an offer he could not refuse and we look forward to having Daniels defend his title in PCW in the fall.”
The expanding international appeal of the man considered by many to be the best wrestler on the planet is undeniable and this minor delay should serve to increase demand to see this incredible performer. Negotiations are under way to lock his appearance in to PCW’s infamous Back to School Bash event!
While Daniels will not be appearing on August 4th, PCW promised to deliver an international superstar and a world title defence and they will do just that as AWA World Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino returns to his hometown to defend his title!
Anyone who purchased a ticket expecting to see Chris Daniels can exchange their ticket for one to see Steve Corino or get a refund in the next two weeks. Fans are encouraged to snap up tickets to this event as Corino is well known for his kick-ass performances.
With the AWA World Heavyweight Champion and World X Division Champion scheduled to appear in Winnipeg, PCW is setting a golden trend in the Canadian industry, Shallcross stated.
“We promised Chris Daniels would be coming to Winnipeg. And we will absolutely make that a reality. For the great fans in Winnipeg, they now have two mega-events to look forward to in the next few months.”
