What did you all think? All WWE has to do with Batista is not screw it up. He was not their boy, they did not pick him to be the next big thing - the people did. As long as WWE does not f**k it up, they have a major star waiting to be made. But I hope they slow burn it as they have been doing. But knowing this sh!tty creative team, he will win the title on Sunday I have to say I totally dig Hassan and Daivari. They are very good and the heat was off the charts for the 'debate'. I like that they will feed a face like Lawler to him - reminds me of the old days of building up a heel. Did not catch the main event, but HHH puts over Orton again. Hmmm...I wonder who will win on Sunday.

That was two weeks in a row that Raw was good.

Last night was super show. I am worried that they'll flip the title back onto HHH this sunday, but at the same time I don't see any really strong choice coming out of this one. If HHH wins it, no one will be happy - and the WM buyrate might suck ass. If Orton wins it, I don't think enough people will care. If Batista wins, that'll f**k up his puch and he'll peak way too earl. Beoint's been there, but he's not really the focus of this match anymore -despite the fact that it was his and Edge's solid work to determine contender ship that got them to this point. Jericho's really just in there to get an extra "former champion" into the mix.
I'd give it to Edge in a shocker, and then push him like mad through to Mania XXI.

I hate to say it, but they have to put the strap on HHH.
I sort of like the vacency angle, but it is too close to WM. HHH should have just kept the belt until WM where it would mean more to lose it.

I think keeping it off him is good until MAnia if he can have a white hod feud with someone going into Mania. Say give it to Edge in the shocker, Michaels is reluctant but forced to count the 3 and then feud with Edge all the way to MAnia.

My money is actually on Jericho. Nobody is expecting him to win the title, and I don't think he's in Michael's bad books storyline wise.
My prediction (and this of course is way off base)...
Batista eliminates HHH Jericho pins Orton for the title.
There are your two Mania matches.

I just don't think you want a weak champion going into WM and they have not built up anyone nearly as good as HHH. Unless Hunter wants to win it back at WM.

Hard to say. I actually think they might keep him away from the title through Mania. Or maybe, that's just what I'd do. I dunno ...

I don't think Jericho would be a weak champ. He's a proven former champ, crowd loves him (they need a babyface champ right now).
Plus, how many times have they given HHH/Orten free on Raw? People aren't dying to see that match again... they want Batista/HHH.
They won't care if it's for a belt or not.... maybe for control of Evolution?

That is fedinitly a money match. I think if I was them, I'd hold that off until either WMXXII or SummerSlam.
If they plan on putting the strap on Jericho, they have done a sh!tty job of making him a contender.

You think so?
The only silly thing about Jericho is that ridiculous hair cut he had. I think he's due for a mega push right now. Hasn't had a major push since he united the belts.

I think Jericho could be the next Flair, but HHH hates him.

Well as per Flair's book.... gotta be professional and do what's best for the business... not let personal matters interfer where you work.
Just because HHH hates him, doesn't mean that he shouldn't get what he deserves.

Jericho did horrible business as champion in late 2001- 2002. The good thing is that I noticed they removed the "Triple H" name plate off the belt so hopefully Triple H will not win the title for the 10th time. I like Edge as an alternative. They have done a good job building him up as a crybaby.

I noticed the name plate was on last week and it sort of bothered me. lol
Jericho had his legs cut out from under him and it was following the disaster that was the WCW Invasion. The champ should not be picking up Stephanie's dogsh!t.
