WWE TO PRODUCE DOCUMENTARY LOOKING AT BRET HART & MONTREAL INCIDENT, NEW DVDS FOR ULTIMATE WARRIOR, ROAD WARRIORS, ECW AND MORE SCHEDULED by Mike Johnson World Wrestling Entertainment's home video division is currently working on a documentary style look at The 1997 Survivor Series incident from Montreal. The look will be a 2-disc set titled "Screwed: The Bret Hart Story."
Also currently in development are 2-DVD sets dedicated to The Ultimate Warrior, The Road Warriors, WWE Legends, and ECW's "Greatest Matches."
While the Bret DVD set does not currently have a release date, the other DVDs are all slated to be released before the end of 2005.
***Maybe now we can get some of the lost footage that did not make it into the Wrestling with Shadows documentary, like Undertaker confronting Vince. It will be pretty cool to see all involved discussing how the plan was hatched.
And then we can all look forward to another DVD in a few years where they all admit it was one big work.

I was surprised by the Warrior DVD, but that is pretty cool. Though, how many matches can they show before he begins to suck? Better show WMVII last...I hope there is a documentary on there. Does WWE own World Class tapes???
Wonder when the Ultimate Hulk Hogan DVD is coming out...

World Class is one of the promotions that WWE does not own the rights to. They own their own, WCW, JCP, AWA, ECW and SMW.

Hmmm, too bad. Where did Warrior work before that? Was it for Cornette?

He and Sting teamed in Memphis and in California as the Blade Runners before he became the Dingo Warrior in World Class.
Honestly, I don't think he's good enough to have a DVD set of his "greatest" matches.

If they've got him under contract for WWE 24/7 and the upcoming legends action figure set, they might see it as worth it since they're paying him anyway. Or they might have had to do it to entice him to be available for 24/z endorsements. They seem to be locking up a bunch of guys for that purpose.
