Might as well get in on this before the show begins.
HHH/Batista: No doubt that Batista will be going over and going over strong. Any other outcome would be wrong on multiple levels. They need zero controversy - Big Dave needs to destroy HHH in this match. The only other dramatic thread I'd like to see is Ric Flair become a tweener and eventually allign with Batista.
Cena/JBL: My gut is saying all signs point to Cena going over (Vince even said as much in a recent interview). And there is plenty of merit to new champs being crowned on both shows at WM. I also have this feeling JBL may be tapped to move over to RAW since Angle appears to be in line to feud with Cena in coming weeks. But gambling requires risk and here it is. JBL goes over to cement his character and to not take awat from Batista's win. Plus, it gives SD a big PPV where Cena finally goes over.
Michaels/Angle: Michaels is a legend and will win the match. He's put over guys lately (Edge, even though he got it back) and RAW is stacked with top guys. Smackdown needs Angle to be bigtime, so he should win. If all things are equal, go with the babyface.
Undertaker/Orton: I'm guessing the original plan was for a babyface Orton to beat Taker. I'm also guessing his shoulder injury and bad attitude have changed that. Orton is an ***hole who does not deserve the huge rub that comes with beating taker at WM. Taker over (and gives WWE the excuse to keep Orton off TV while he has surgery).
Trish/Christy: I almost smell a Lita heel turn, but there is money to be made down the road in her match with Trish. Christy going over would impact that. Trish wins. I would not be surprised to see the fans turn on Christy in this match if she blows some spots.
Akebono/Show: Akebono is the outsider and the fans will be hot if he wins. But Show can lose a worked match and be fine while Akebono would probably be villified in Japan, especially as this is Sumo rules. I'm going out on a limb and calling this a draw. It's pretty obvious Show has not been into this angle, so he might be laying down...
Six Pack Challenge: Assuming Batista wins the title, logic would dictate a heel going over here and becoming the first challenger (after HHH gets killed in the rematch at Backlash). But dont discount a possible heel turn or a move to SD. Kane is out since he just put Batista over on TV. Shelton is out because the match would be for his IC title if he was going to win. jericho is out because WWE always sh!ts on him (though him winning and turning heel would be gold for a feud with Batista). Christian would also be gold, but c'mon, he's Christian. So it's either Benoit or Edge. Edge is logical and my pick here. But I would not be surprised to see Benoit win and turn heel as he'd carry Batista to great matches. I also would not be surprised to see Edge win and get traded or lose, complain and get traded. Edge/Cena would be a fresh feud on SD and pave the way for Matt's return to RAW (and split up Edge/Lita).
There you have it. Hassan will get involved, probably during Piper's Pit. He either eats a stunner or gets confronted by Hogan. I could see a match between the two (though it seems less likely that WWE would save Hogan for a surprise, but then maybe the match is made for RAW to pop a number...)
