The funny thing is that Duggan is only 17 years old and he has worked for more offices than almost anyone locally. lol. Good for him; he has no committments right now so he is networking himself to make some contacts. I was clear with Duggan to make sure he does not ditch any schooling. My understanding is that he takes a lot of classes by correspondence. He is smart enough that he knows not to rely on making a living doing this as it is a pipe-dream and the odds of making it nowadays are astronomical. But by the time the business gets hot again, in 4-5 years, he will still only be 21 or 22 years old.

There were some people locally that refused to help Danny because of his age. If their Worker's Union concept and/or Safety Coalition had been formed, Danny would be cut out of this market (and I am not trying to dis anyone). It just goes to show you that age is not the be-all and end-all of working.
Danny is also proving that you do not need 100 years of experience or connections or a relaince on your promoter to get booked. He went out and did it. And I know he asked a couple of other locals to go with him and they brushed it off. Foolish.
Good for Danny. I'm proud of his efforts and proud of any work he has done or will do for PCW.

Maybe I shouldn't say this, but I contacted RME quite some time ago and practically begged them to do me the favour of using Danny on their shows and they refused.
Part of the heat between PCW and RME was Ez Ryder's stooging off of Danny's connection with us. Well, I'll always go to bat for the guys and Danny is doing more then most to further his career.
