After reading about Ringmasters potential demise I thought to myself, self...maybe I should go down and see what's what!
I walked in to a show already progess and let me tell you it was only show NOT worth watching!
The match I briefly watched was beginning to look like a well performed dance routine to keep all the moves in sync however I was quickly jolted out of my self induced catatonic state by my nicotine challenged friend who decided that he needed to have a smoke already.
Once returning inside it was already intermission. Blah blah blah some sort of draw was made for tee shirts...it took longer then I thought was necessary to find 2 so-called fans who were the lucky winners of these shirts.
In case anyone is wondering...yes they were ringmaster tees that were won
Judging by the number of childrens names pulled out that weren't there to claim their prizes clearly shows that even children knew that this was a show clearly NOT worth watching.
The first match after the intermission was between some guy wearing blue and white smurf pants that can't even be compared to Mr Amazing Shawn Houstons white and blue pants. He wrestled against some portly pepper pot and finally lost.
There may have been another match before the "main event" but I'm trying so hard to forget my first and last ringmasters experience that my memory is failing me...and not a moment too soon I might add.
Main event: The north and south connection vs The R and R Express
Injured Alex Rain was the highlight of the show. He's hot. Plain and simple. JC Derkson and some other Jo Blow nobody make up the 'connection' and I was terribly disturbed by their outrageous get-ups. I don't know who the one wearing the hideous Canadian flag pants was but they looked like they were made of beach ball material. They scared me.
The time has finally come for me to go have a few drinks to forget about this fiasco. Don't be surprised if I edit this post when I get back.
This show is going to give me nightmares for a very long time.
